Army beats Navy in polo

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Displaying better stickwork and horsemanship, Army defeated Navy 11 goals to four to win the Army-Navi Polo Cup at the Jaipur Polo Ground here today.

Once Maj Ravi Rathore (5) opened the account for the Army team, there was no let back as he was joined by Lt Col Tarun Sirohi and the duo scored at regular intervals to take the game away from their rivals.

The Navy team did not give up easily and reduced margin through Lt Cdr Akhil Sirohi (3) and Lt Cdr AP Singh (1) but in the end, that was just not enough to avert a defeat.
