Apang stresses on public-private partnership

Itanagar, Oct 23: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang has emphasised on public-private partnership in all government projects so as to achieve economic independence.

The chief minister, while addressing a public meeting during his two-day visit to Dibang Valley district recently, said that many of the central government schemes did not percolate down to the rural masses because of its policy on population criteria. Arunachal could become a leading state in the country with proper utilization of hydro-power potential, the chief minister pointed out while dwelling at length on the state's rich hydro power resources, informed official sources here today.
