Adhir Choudhury's daughter Shreyashi dies today

Kolkata, Oct 23 (UNI) Shreyashi Chowdhury, daughter of Congres MP Adhir Choudhruy, died here tonight at a private hospital in the five-day battle for life after she fell from the roof of 5th floor apartment in south Kolkata on October 18.

She was 18.

Announcing this AMRI hospital authorities said she succumbed to her multiple organic failure. Her end came at 2020 hours.

Shreyashi was put on ventilation and a board of doctors had been working hard to save her life. But her condition became critical since yesterday.

Several Congress leaders including Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Dasmunshi visited the hospital on receiving the news.

She was said to be suffering from depression.
