88.96 lakh MT paddy arrives in Punjab mandis

Chandigarh, Oct 23 (UNI) The arrival of paddy has touched 88.96 metric tonnes in Punjab till yesterday , the state's Food and Civil Supplies Minister Lal Singh today said.

Giving details of procurement, the minister said that 1924794 metric tonnes (MT) of paddy was procured by Pungrain, 1592840 MT by Markfed, 1953732 MT by Punsup, 865112 MT by PSWC, 994036 MT by PAIC, 207042 MT by FCI and 1358809 Tonnes by the Millers in the state till yesterday.
