3 siblings drown on Diwali

Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu), Oct 23: Three siblings drowned while taking a bath in the Vennar River near Melattoor Village yesterday.

Police sources here said Rajmohan (18), his brother Saravanan (12) and sister Divya (14) belonging to Kanthavanam Villager near Melathoor went to the river for a bath on Diwali when the mishap occurred.

The bodies were later found in a bush near the river bank.
