Temperature dips further in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 22 (UNI) After Diwali revelry, Delhiites woke up to light rains which further brought down the temperature in the capital, marking the onset of the Winter season.

The maximum temperature today dropped to 27.6 degree Celsius while the minimum touched to 20 degrees C.

Weathermen has forecast more showers and further drop in mercury in the capital in the coming days as a generally overcast sky and Easterly winds maintained coolness in the air.

With the setting of Northerly winds, night temperatures are likely to fall by 2-4 deg C over Northwest India during the next 2-3 days.

For Delhi, the met office has forecasted a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of one or two spells of thundershowers during the next 24 hours.
