Rain in Lakshadweep, Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 22 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Lakshadweep and a few places in Kerala in the last 24 hours.

Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), Kochi, received the maximum rainfall of four cm followed by Perinthalmanna with three cm, the local weather office said here.

The other chief amounts of rainfall received in cms are Palakkad, Minicoy and Varkala (2 each) and Agati and Kollam (1 each).

Kannur and Palakkad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 33 Deg C while CIAL, Kannur and Palakkad registered the lowest minimum of 23 Deg C.

Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Kerala and few places in Lakshadweep, it added.
