Police destroy a hooch den at Salt Lake

Barrackpore, Oct 22: Police arrested three criminals when they were prevented from destroying an illegal liquor den at Salt Lake's Duttabadh area near here tonight.

Police said a mob armed with stones and other missiles attacked a police patrol when the latter went to the Duttabadh area to destroy a liquor den.

Police used lathis to quell the mob and arrested three criminals.
