NSCN (K) cadre's body recovered

Kohima, Oct 22 (UNI) The body of a youth was recovered near Jotsoma bye-pass check gate near here yesterday, police today said.

The deceased bore a single bullet mark on his forehead, they said, adding he might have been killed on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as one self styled NSCN (K) 'Lance Corporal', police sources said.

The body was brought to Kohima South Police station where a case has been registered and investigations orderedn.

Later the body was handed over to his relatives.

Meanwhile, NSCN (K) sources said the victim had been in the outfit but retired two years back.
