New Zealand cricketers arrive for Champions Trophy

Chandigarh, October 22 (UNI) A Stephen Fleming-led New Zealand side arrived here today while their rivals in the October 25 match Pakistan is scheduled to reach tomorrow.

The Kiwis will have their practice session at the PCA Stadium tomorrow.

ICC President Percy Sonn is also scheduled to arrive here tomorrow.

Apart from the New Zealanders, umpires Rudi Koertzen and Mark Benson and BCCI Match Observer Dr G M Ozha have also reached the city.

The New Zealand-Pakistan match will be an important game since one semi-finalists will be decided in this match.

Meanwhile, PCA suorces said all tickets for general block for the India vs Australia match have been sold and sales for the Pakistan-New Zealand and the October 27 Pakistan-South Africa) matches have also picked up.
