34 injured as bus overturns in HP

Mandi, Oct 22 (UNI) At least 34 people were injured, six of them seriously, after the private bus in which they were travelling overturned in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh last evening, police sources today said.

The accident occurred at Bijni, three km from here, while it was on its way to Padhar from Mandi town, injuring 34 people.

The sources said all the injured people have been admitted to the regional hospital here out of which the condition of six has been declared as critical by the doctors.

A case has been registered and investigations were on to ascertain the cause of the accident, they added.
