Reduce medicine price: WB Speaker to Govt

Barrackpore, Oct 21: West Bengal Legislative Assembly Speaker Hasim Abdul Halim has called upon the state and the Centre to fight against the high price of medicines for the benefit of the poor.

Addressing a programme in Naihati, Mr Halim expressed his concern over the price hike of different medicines including those for epilepsy.

''The patients of epilepsy are increasing. Poor patients are affected due to price hike,'' he said.
