Srikrishna Singh remembered

Patna, Oct 21 (UNI) The 119th birth anniversary of Bihar's first chief minister Srikrishna Singh was celebrated today throughout the state by organising different functions.

The central function was held at the premises of the state civil secretariat, where floral tributes were paid at the statue of the departed leader by, Governor R S Gavai and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, among others.

Artistes from infomation and public relations department of the state government presented devotional songs in the function where various activities of the multi faceted personality of late Srikrishna Singh were recalled.

The birth anniversary was also celebrated at Bihar Pradesh Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters.
