Rains likely in TN. Kerala and Lakshadweep

Pune, Oct 21 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a many places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

There could also be rains or thundershowers at few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kasmir, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Himalchal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and at many places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have also occurred at a few places in Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Punjab, coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Orissa, Bihar, Haryana, east Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, west Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Konkan and Goa, south madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh and coastal and south interior Karnataka and were above normal in Assam, Manipur, Orissa, Jharkhand, south Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, north madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Kerala.

They were appreciably to markedly below normal in north Madhya Pradesh.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, interior Orissa and in some parts of Haryana and Punjab and were below normal in Meghalaya, coastal Orissa, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, south madhya Maharashtra and south Tamil Nadu. They were appreciably above normal in Kashmir and in some parts of Gujarat and above normal in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, north madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and coastal Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.
