Rain at different places in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 21 (UNI) Rain or thunder showers occurred at many places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshadweep.

According to the local weather office, the maximum amount of rainfall recorded at Kottayam was five cm, Kannur recorded four and Alappuzha, Karippur airport, Kochi airport and Palakkad - two cm each.

Amini Dweep, Thiruvananthapuram City and Thodupuzha also received one cm each.

Palakkad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 35 Degree Celcius, while Kannur registered the lowest minimum of 21 Degree Celcius.

Rain or thunder showers would occurr at many places in Kerala and few places in Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours, the office added.
