Patil, hundreds visit Rashtrapati Bhawan to greet Kalam

New Delhi, Oct 21: President A P J Abdul Kalam today celebrated Diwali at Rashtrapati Bhawan receiving dignitaries and members of the public besides representatives of various social organisations.

Prominent among those who called on him were Home Minister Shivraj Patil along with his family, Lt Governor of Delhi B L Joshi and BJP leader and former Delhi chief minister Saheb Singh Verma.

Members of the spiritual organisation Brahmakumari and those of various social organisations also came to greet the President on the occasion.

He received greetings from about 2000 people.
