Nine die in Gujarat road accident

Ahmedabad, Oct 21 (UNI) At least nine people were killed on the spot and three sustained injuries when the truck they were travelling turned turtle near Dholera town, about 35 km from here, this morning.

According to control room sources, the incident took place when the driver of the ill-fated truck lost control over the steering, resulting in the death of nine people.

The deceased have been identified as Kajaj Vayas, Jaisukh Veeru, Bindu Jaisukh, Rajan Jaisukh, Ronak Jaisukh, Mithabhai Villabhai, Kanti Manjibhai and Kanu Balu. However, the identity of one person was yet to be ascertained.

The three injured have been admitted to a local civil hospital at Dholera town, the sources said.
