Medical facilities to all Haj pilgrims
Hyderabad, Oct 21: Central Haj Committee Chairman Iqbal Ahmed Sargi today said the Haj committee has made all arrangements to provide medical facilities to all Haj pilgrims at Mecca.
Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Iqbal said medical facilities would be provided to the pilgrims who were going to Mecca. Doctors, medicines and emergency treatment facilities would be provided at all areas where Indian pilgrims were accomodated.
Stating that the quota for Indian pilgrims would be increased next year, he said the centre was holding talks with Saudi Arabian government in this regard. One lakh pilgrims would attend Haj pilgrimage during this year, he added.
Mr Iqbal said the Haj committee was giving priority to provide accomodation to the aged pilgrims at all alloted residential complexes where basic amenities like toilets, utensils and transportation would be provided.
