Duleep: Gavaskar Jr takes East closer to win

Gwalior, Oct 21 (UNI) A fine knock of 80 by Rohan Gavaskar aided East Zone in amassing 330 runs against Central Zone in an ongoing Duleep Trophy encounter here.

At stumps on the penultimate day, Central had lost five wickets for 145 runs in their second innings.

The visitors had scored 245 in the first innings during which Gavaskar scored 106 but Central's first innings had wound up at 130.
