CM calls on Justice Iyer in hospital

Kochi, Oct 21 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today called on noted Jurist and former Supreme Court Judge V R Krishna Iyer admitted at the Medical Trust Hospital here.

Justice Iyer was hospitalised about 15 days ago after he slipped in his house and suffered a hairline fracture on his arm and a slight spinal injury.

He has been advised complete bed rest. However, all his other health parameters are normal, Hospital Director P V Antony and other doctors informed the Chief Minister.

He is likely to be in the hospital for one more week, hospital sources added.
