BSF jawan shot dead by colleague

Agartala, Oct 21 (UNI) A BSF 131 Battalion jawan was shot dead by his colleague at North Tripura's Amar Border Outpost near Bangladesh last night.

The Kanchanpur Police here today said Rifleman Binod Kumar fired from his service rifle on BSF Havildar Nandlal Ram killing him on the spot last night.

There was an altercation between the two over some issue which haa not been ascertained, sources added.

The accused has been arrested, police said.
