BSF jawan shot dead by colleague in Tripura

Agartala, Oct 21: A BSF 131 Battalion Havildar was shot dead by his colleague at North Tripura's Amar Border Out Post near Bangladesh last night.

The Kanchanpur Police here today said Rifleman Binod Kumar fired from his service rifle on BSF havildar Nandlal Ram killing him on the spot last night.

The murder has been arrested, police said.

There was an altercation between the two over some issue which had not been ascertained, sources added.
