All 5 labourers dead in a fire in cracker shop

New Delhi, Oct 21: Among the five killed in yesterday's fire in Mahipalpur in South-West Delhi were two teenagers, according to the Fire Brigade.

All others were either labourers working in the same building on old Rangpuri Road, where the fire took place, or their children.

The deceased had been identified as who died were Jasbir (40), Ram Babu (40), Chandan (22), Gauri (15) and Jat Singh (13).

One more person, Hitesh (22), received burn injuries which were non-fatal, it added.

Five people were killed in a fire at a cracker shop in Mahipalpur last night.

The fire, which broke out at 1955 hrs, had spread to the neighbouring two grocery shops and left five people dead.

All the three shops were gutted in fire.
