Woman jumps to death

Krishnagar, Oct 20 (UNI) A 40-year-old woman jumped to her death in a well along with her two minor daughters in a village in this district today.

Fed up with constant bickering at home, Tapashi Chowdhury lifted her two sleeping daughters, aged ten and six, and jumped into the well in her residence in Simurali Tematha More under Chakdah police station area, police said.

However, alert villagers promptly rescued the kids, police added.
