Tripura Gov greets people on occasion of Deepavali

Agartala, Oct 20 (UNI) Tripura Governor Dinesh Nandan Sahaya has conveyed greetings and wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Deepavali.

In his message, Mr Sahaya hoped that the festival of lights would bring the people closer to each other thereby strengthening a harmonious bond amongst all the sections of the society.

'' I convey my heartiest greetings and best wishes to the people of Tripura,'' Mr Sahaya wrote.

The Governor also expressed hope that the festival, which is celebrated to mark the triumph of good over evil and march from darkness to light, would spread the message of joy and unity among the people of Tripura.
