Satyam to launch operations at Visakhapatnam in November
Hyderabad, Oct 20 (UNI) Satyam, the leading global consulting and IT services company, Founder and Chairman B Ramalinga Raju today said the IT services would be launched at newly constructed Visakhapatnam centre, where the work is in progress, by November end.
Addressing mediapersons after announcing Q2 results of the company Mr Raju said 700 associates would work at the new centre by the end of this year. The company was also planning to offer IT services to Latin American countries, mainly to clients from Brazil, where Satyam had recently launched operations, he added.
Stating that the intake at China centre would be increased to four digit level by the end of next year, he said at present 400 persons were performing their duties at this centre.
Mr Raju said the company would take up 25 large deals, which means deals having 50 million dollar revenue surety within three years.
He said, at present, 35,000 associates were working with the company in which 4,025 associates alone had been recruited during this July to Septmeber.
