Robbers throw woman off running train

Mahoba, Oct 20 (UNI) Armed robbers threw a woman off a running train on Jhansi-Manikpur railway section last night, police today said.

A critically wounded Ramsiya was later referred to Jhansi Medical College.

A labourer Deena and his wife Ramsiya were travelling aboard the Gwalior-Howrah Chambal Express, when robbers tried to rob them of valuables between Palpur and Belatal railway stations.

When Ramsiya offerred resistance, she was thrown off the train, police added. A case had been registered.
