Rain likely at Tamil Nadu and Kerala

Pune, Oct 20 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa and coastal Karnataka and were appreciably above normal in Orissa, Jharkhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Andhra Praesh and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat region, Marathwada and north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of coastal Karnataka.

They were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab and Tamil Nadu. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab and Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and kashmir and Saurashtra and Kutch and in some parts of Vidarbha and were above normal in Arunachal Pradesh and in some parts of Assam, Madhya Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Bihar, Vidarbha, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka.
