One person killed, children injured in explosion

Bhubaneswar, Oct 20 (UNI) In a tragic incident, a village temple priest was killed and three children were injured, two of them seriously, when crackers stored in his house exploded today.

Police said one Prakash Mohapatra, priest of Biswanath temple, died while two of his minor children were seriously injured when crackers exploded. Another 18-month girl, the priest's relative, also sustained minor injuries.

The room, where the crackers were stored, had been completely damaged following the explosion. The two children-Rajesh(8) and Jagdish(6) had been admitted to the Capital hospital here.
