One LeT militant killed in Doda

Jammu, Oct 20 (UNI) Security forces today shot dead a LeT militant in Doda district here, police official said.

''One LeT militant Shabir Ahmed Sheikh, son of Din Mohammad Sheikh was killed at Joura Bala in Gandow,'' SSP Doda, Manmohan Singh told UNI.

One AK rifle, a wireless set and other materials were also recovered from the site of encounter.

The operation was still going on the SSP added.
