Kerala stands first in CBSE Science Exhibition

New Delhi, Oct 20: Kerala has bagged the first prize in the third all-India CBSE Sceince Exhibition held at Gurgaon.

A working model of tsunami indicator, presented by Mr Roy P Daniel, Mr Arun K Nair and Ms Sinu Asha Thomas of Newman Central School, Adoor, which represented the State, has won the prize.The Exhibition held, at the DAV School grounds at Gurgaon, concluded last night.

The team has been also selected for the Science Exhibition to be held at Pune next month.

A Hindi documentary on tsunami, "Mricha Kadikam", directed by Mr Somnathan Chirackal of the Newman Central School, has received wide appreciation.
