JU MoU with York University

Kolkata, Oct 20 (UNI) Jadavpur University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration with York University in Toronto, Canada.

The MoU, JU's first with a Canadian University, calls for collaboration a variety of activities including the reciprocal exchange of students and faculty and joint research projects, official sources said.

The collaboration may take place in any of the fields taught by the two universities.

The first areas of joint activity are likely to be in nanotechnology, history and film studies.

York University is the second largest university in Canada.
