Jindal Steel Power and Sehgal Stud to vie for title

New Delhi, Oct 20 (UNI) Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) routed Horse and Wagun 9-3 and Sehgal Stud beat Cavalry Red 8-4 to set up a title clash in the Deutsche Bank Bhopal Pataudi polo tournament here today.

In a semi-final which surprisingly turned out to be a one-sided affair, Samir Suhag led the charge for JSP, blasting five goals. He was ably supported by Simran Shergill who chipped in with three goals while Abhimanyu Pathak scored one goal. For the losers, Adhiraj Singh contributed two goals and Uday Kalaan one.

The second semi-final between Sahgal Stud and Cavalry (Red) was evenly contested but Dhruvpal Godara made all the difference as he slammed seven goals to sniff out Cavalry's challange.

The final is slated for Sunday.
