Former Mizoram Governor nominated for Padma Bhusan

Aizawl, Oct 20 (UNI) The Mizoram government has nominated its former Governor A R Kohli for the Padma Bhusan.

To a question, raised by the Congress MLAs, state Home Minister Tawnluia addimited that the Mizoram government had recommended Mr Kohli for the country's second highest civil award Padma Bhusan.

However, the Home Minister did not mention why the former Governor had been nominated for the award.
