Delhi LG, CM extend Diwali greetings

New Delhi, Oct 20 (UNI) Delhi Lt Governor B L Joshi today extended his greetings and good wishes to the people of Delhi on the festival of lights.

In his message, Mr Joshi exhorted the people of Delhi to celebrate Diwali with zest and spread the message of love and peace.

He prayed to the almighty to shower happiness and prosperity.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has also extended her greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Deepawali to all Delhiites.

She expressed confidence that the festival of lights would bring joy and prosperity in the lives of people.

She reiterated her appeal to the children to avoid use of crackers on this Deepawali also and contribute in noble cause of environment protection.
