Case against Jindal for insulting national flag

Patthalgaon, Oct 20 (UNI) A criminal case has been registered against Jindal Steel and Power Ltd for insulting the National Flag within Tamnar Police Station limits in Chhattisgarh's Raigarh district.

''We received information that the Tricolour had not been lowered even well past dusk at Jindal Power Ltd. A police team reached Punjipathra village and seized the flag from the premises,'' Superintendent of Police Deepanshu Kabra said today.

Jindal Industries Executive Director D P Saraogi admitted the slip and said that he was prepared to face the punishment.
