BJP symbolically hangs Afzal

Patna, Oct 20 (UNI) Venting its strong anger against attempts of certain quarters in political circle for clemency to Afzal, who was awarded capital punishment, Bihar BJP unit symbolically executed him at all district headquarters across the state.

BJP workers executed Afzal at Dakbunglow crossing here under the leadership of party MLA Arun Sinha.

Addressing the workers, party leaders cautioned the political leaders who were making statements favouring clemency to the terrorist, saying that this kind of development was serious threat to unity and integrity of the country.

''The man who is responsible for Parliament attacks should be hanged,'' party leaders reiterated.
