B S Sudhindra appointed Regional Director of IGNOU

Bangalore, Oct 20 (UNI) Noted mathematician and supernumerary scientist Prof B S Sudhindra has been appointed as the Regional Director of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for the Karnataka and Goa regions.

Prof Sudhindra, a doctoral degree holder from the Indian Institute of Science, joined IGNOU in 1989 and developed newer study skills in facilitating success 'How to Write a Complete Answer - NEED - IPS procedure' and 'How to succeed Maths - FOLK - CAP procedure'.

He had developed mathematical procedures which had contributed to make people math literate, an IGNOU release here said today.
