'Wounded' to hit silver screen on Dec 15

Bhadhoi, Oct 19 (UNI) Controversial film 'Wounded' based on the life of bandit queen Seema Parihar is ready to hit the silver screen on December 15.

Talking to UNI here yesterday, director Krishna Mishra said the most interesting part of the story was that Seema Parihar herself was essaying the lead role.

The film was surrounded by controversies at the Laster World Film Festival as a section of the society objected to certain scenes and dialogues. The film crew were also threatened by the Rajputs of Behamyi village to cancel the shooting, he added.
