WFPML signs agreement with Poyry Industry Singapore

Rajahmundry, Oct 19 (UNI) Whitefield Paper Mills Ltd (WFPML), the first sector specific special economic zone paper mill signed an agrement with M/S Poyry Forest Industry, Singapore for setting up a Rs 1200 crore paper mill and detailed engineering and technical consultancy services.

The mill would be coming up at Bayyavaram village in West Godavari district with an installed annual capacity of two lakh metric tonnes to produce writing, printing and special varieties of paper, according to a company release.

WFPML Director K S P Rao and Associate Principal Poyry Forest Industry, Singapore David Gardner signed the agreement in the presence of Chairman of the company T Srinivasa Rao, Project Office incharge Kovvuru, M Venugopal and others, last evening.

Poyry would carry out their work in association with their counterpart in India M/S SPB Project Consultants, Chennai, the release added.
