Vice President greeted on his 84th birthday

New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) Vice President, Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was greeted by the officers and members of staff of the Vice-President's Secretariat and Rajya Sabha Secretariat on the occasion of his 84th birthday today.

According to release issued here today, Mr Shekhawat was presented a publication ''Felicitations Chairman's Sir'' containing the felicitations offered to him by the Rajya Sabha member on his completion of four years in office as Chairman, Rajya Sabha.

Several members of Parliament and other dignitaries also met him at his residence in the morning and wished him good health and long life in the service of the country.

The Vice President left for Jaipur in the afternoon. where he will celebrate his birthday and Deepawali.
