Three family members murdered

Ujjain, MP, Oct 19 (UNI) Three generations of a Sindhi family -- mother, son and granddaughter -- were stabbed to death last night by unidentified persons in a house at Frangij area here, police said today.

On receiving information about the murder this morning, police reached the spot and recovered the bodies of Manohar Keswani (47), his mother Hirabai (70) and his daughter Monica (22) in mutilated condition, Superintendent of Police Jaideep Prasad said.

When the shop on the ground floor of the house did not open, neighbouring shop owners got suspicious and informed other members of the family.

Dacoity was not being seen as the motive behind the murder, as the deceased's financial condition was not good.

Police were on the lookout for the culprits.
