Many die in Afghan suicide raid on NATO patrol

Lashkar Gah (Afghanistan), Oct 19: Several people were killed when a suicide bomber threw himself at NATO troops in southern Afghanistan today, witnesses said.

A NATO vehicle was set alight in the attack in the main bazaar of Lashkar Gah, capital of Helmand province, they said.

It was unclear if there were casualties among the troops, but several bodies of civilians were scattered on the ground.
