Seven held for illicit liquor sale

Anand, Oct 19 (UNI) The police raided various parts of the city and arrested seven people, including five women, on the charge of selling illicit liquor.

Police today said in an all-night operation, they have nabbed Jivaben Gohil from the Latiya Bhagol area, Shalaben Thakur, Nitaben Chavda and Jatin Patel from the 50- ft road area, Butabhai Mangalbhai Vasava from Mahavir slums, Saradaben Gohil from Parikh Gowan area and Gitaben Solanki from Sojitra area.
