Reliance Industries Q2 net spurs 9.18 pc to Rs 2709 cr

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) Reliance Industries Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 2,709.0 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 2,481.0 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, an increase of 9.18 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 20,939.0 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 28,496.0 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
