Orchid Chemicals Q2 net rises 8.23 pc

Mumbai, Oct 19: Orchid Chemicals&Pharmaceuticals Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 29.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 27.21 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a rise of 8.23 pc.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 240.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 245.95 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
