ONGC Q2 net rises marginally by 0.86 pc to Rs 4174 cr

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) The state owned Oil&Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) has posted a net profit of Rs 4,173.98 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 4,138.25 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 13,543.31 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 15,008.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
