New facilities at Visakhapatnam railway station

Visakhapatnam, Oct 19 (UNI) The East Coast Railway Divisional Manager Indra Ghosh today said new facilities including new complex are taken up at Visakhapatnam railway station at the cost of Rs 16 crore to over come platform constraints.

Addressing a press conference here, he said an automatic signaling system was introduced between Gopalapatnam and Visakhapatnam.

After commissioning of Route Relay Interlocking (RRI) and Automatic Signaling, the detention of trains before Visakhaptanam would get reduced and entry to Visakhapatnam station would become smooth, he added.
