Man found murdered in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Oct 19 (UNI) A 58-year-old man was today found murdered in his house in Chanayakkapuri locality of the city.

The deceased, identified as Shamrao Nathaji Magre, a milkman by a profession, was found strangulated somtime late last night.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Cidco Division Navinchandra Reddy told UNI that preliminary inquiries indicated that money matter could be one of the reason behind the murder. The deceased had defaulted the repayment of debt he had taken from few people.

The body has been sent to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem and further details are awaited, police said.

A murder case has been registered by the Jawaharnagar police station and further investigations are on, police added.
