Lalu should apologise: Shivanand

Patna, Oct 19 (UNI) Senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari today suggested party chief Lalu Prasad to apologise publicly and undergo self introspection to realise that ''he was responsible for debacle in the elections.'' In his letter to Mr Prasad, Mr Tiwari said, ''The RJD chief never kept his promises. Despite vows of staying away from corruption, Mr Prasad was involved in corrupt practices.'' Mr Tiwari said, ''Mr Prasad had announced to march for Ayodhya with one crore people to save Babri mosque. But his tall promises did not turn into reality.'' Mr Tiwari further alleged that Mr Prasad, who was against the division of Bihar, paved way for it. ''The RJD supremo always betrayed the common people for which he should apologise,'' he added.
